Walking
From your current location in Nagarkot, head towards the main road that leads to Bhaktapur. Walk straight for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the junction where you see a sign for the Nagarkot View Tower. Turn left at this junction and continue walking for another 1 kilometer. You will pass several guesthouses and local shops along the way. Keep an eye out for a bus station on your right side after about 500 meters. Continue on this path, and once you reach the top of the hill, you will see the entrance to the Nagarkot View Tower. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Alternatively, if you are near the local market in Nagarkot, start at the market square and head towards the Nagarkot Bus Park. Once you reach the Bus Park, turn right and take the path that leads up the hill. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will eventually find the Outdoor Himalayan Treks office located on Thamel Marg, Kathmandu. This route will take you through some scenic views and local villages.

If you are near any of the hotels in Nagarkot, ask the staff for directions to the nearest bus stop heading towards Kathmandu. Take the local bus to Kathmandu, which takes about an hour. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, get off at Thamel, then walk to Thamel Marg, where you will find Outdoor Himalayan Treks at the address provided. This option allows you to experience local transport and is a good choice if you want to explore Kathmandu as well.
