Walking
From your accommodation in Nagarkot, head towards the main road leading to Bhaktapur. Follow the signs towards Bhaktapur for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop. From there, take a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The bus will take you on a scenic route down the hill. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Ratna Park, which is located in the city center. Walk towards Ratan Park Path and you will find the park easily.

Begin your journey at the main bus station in Nagarkot. Board a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur. The bus ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Bhaktapur, you'll need to transfer to another bus going to Kathmandu. After approximately 30 more minutes of travel, get off at the Ratna Park area. The park is located at Ratna Park Path, and you can easily ask locals for specific directions if needed.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider trekking from Nagarkot to Kathmandu. Follow the trail leading down from Nagarkot, which is well-marked. The hike will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. After about 4-5 hours of trekking, you will reach the outskirts of Kathmandu.
