Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, head south towards the main road. When you reach the main road, turn right and continue walking down the hill for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bhaktapur. At this junction, turn left. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer, and you will see signs directing you to Lalitpur and the Rato Machchhindranath Temple. Keep walking for about 500 meters until you reach the temple, which will be on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nagarkot. Start by cycling down the main hill road towards Bhaktapur. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for the turnoff to Lalitpur; turn left at the junction. Continue cycling straight for about 1 kilometer, and soon you will see the Rato Machchhindranath Temple on your right. Remember to be cautious of the traffic as you approach the temple.
