Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, start by heading south towards the main road. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork where the road splits. Take the right path that leads you downhill. Continue walking for another 2 kilometers, passing through local houses and small shops. You will eventually reach the main highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue walking straight until you see a sign pointing towards Bhaktapur. Follow this path for about 3 kilometers until you enter Bhaktapur city. Once inside the city, ask locals for directions to Taumadhi Square, where the 5 storey temple is located. It is prominent and should be easy to find as it is a major landmark.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a hiking trail from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur. Start at the Nagarkot view tower and follow the marked trail heading south. The hike is approximately 8 kilometers and will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. The trail will eventually lead you to a road that connects to Bhaktapur. Once you reach the road, head towards the city center and look for signs to Taumadhi Square. The 5 storey temple is located there and is hard to miss.
