Start from Patan Durbar Square, a central and familiar point in Patan. Exit the square and head east towards the Mahabouddha Temple. Walk along the road, keeping the temple on your left. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a major intersection. At the intersection, take a left turn onto the road leading towards Suryabinayak. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you to the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. The statue is situated on a hilltop, so you may need to walk uphill for a short distance. The entire journey should take around 30 to 40 minutes on foot.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Patan Durbar Square. Ride east towards the Mahabouddha Temple, then continue straight past the temple for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the major intersection, take a left onto the road to Suryabinayak. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer, following the signs for the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. The last stretch involves a slight climb, but it should take around 15 to 20 minutes total to reach the statue by bicycle.

From Patan Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. Board a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur and get off at the Suryabinayak stop. It should take about 15 minutes to reach this stop. From there, walk about 500 meters up the road, following the signs for Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. The statue is visible from a distance, and you should be able to reach it within 10 to 15 minutes on foot after getting off the bus.
