Walking
Start at Patan Durbar Square, the central hub of Patan. From the square, head south on Bhaktapur Durbar Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pulchowk Road. Turn left onto Pulchowk Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the traffic circle. At the circle, take the second exit onto Kirtipur-Patan Road. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the Kulekhani Hydropower Reservoir. Look for signs that direct you towards the reservoir area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from any shop near Patan Durbar Square. Begin your journey by cycling south on Bhaktapur Durbar Road. Continue until you reach the intersection with Pulchowk Road, then turn left. Cycle along Pulchowk Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. When you come to the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Kirtipur-Patan Road. Keep cycling for about 2 kilometers until you see signs for Kulekhani Hydropower Reservoir. Follow these signs to your destination.
Public Transport
Walk to the nearest bus station from Patan Durbar Square, which is located a short distance away. Look for a bus heading towards Kulekhani or a local bus that passes through the area. Board the bus and inform the conductor of your destination. The bus will take you along the main road towards Kulekhani. Once you reach the Kulekhani Hydropower Reservoir stop, disembark and follow the signs to the reservoir area.
