Walking
From Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Lalitpur 30). Turn left onto the main road and continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Cross the road carefully; you'll notice a large blue sign indicating Budhanilkantha. Continue straight on the Ring Road for another 10 minutes, keeping an eye out for local shops and eateries. Once you reach the Budhanilkantha area, look for signs directing you to Nagi Gumba. The temple is situated on a hill; you will need to walk up a slight incline for around 10 minutes. The entrance is marked, and you should see the temple at the top of the path.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Patan Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road and take a local bus heading towards Budhanilkantha. The fare is minimal, and the buses are frequent. Inform the conductor you are going to Budhanilkantha, and they will let you know when to get off. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Budhanilkantha, look for signs for Nagi Gumba. You may need to walk uphill for about 10 minutes from the bus stop to reach the temple.
Rickshaw
From Patan Durbar Square, you can hire a rickshaw. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 300-400 NPR. The rickshaw will take you directly to Nagi Gumba. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to mention 'Nagi Gumba' to the driver for the best guidance.
