Walking
From the Patan Durbar Square, head south towards Pulchowk Road. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kirtipur Road. Turn left onto Kirtipur Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. As you approach Kirtipur, you will see signs for Bagh Bhairab Temple. Continue straight on Chithu Marg for another 300 meters. The temple will be on your right.
Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start at Patan Durbar Square and head south on Pulchowk Road. After about 500 meters, take a left onto Kirtipur Road. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you near Kirtipur, keep an eye out for signs pointing to Bagh Bhairab Temple. Continue for another 300 meters on Chithu Marg, and you will find the temple on your right.
Public Transport (Microbus)
From Patan Durbar Square, walk to the nearest microbus stop located on Pulchowk Road. Board a microbus that is heading to Kirtipur. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the Kirtipur stop. From there, walk north on Chithu Marg for about 500 meters. The Bagh Bhairab Temple will be on your left side.
Rickshaw
You can hire a rickshaw from anywhere in Patan. Tell the driver you want to go to Bagh Bhairab Temple in Kirtipur. The ride will take around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off on Chithu Marg. The temple is a short walk from where the rickshaw stops.
