If you are starting from the Patan Durbar Square, head south on the main road (Mangal Bazaar). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Patandhoka Road. Turn left onto Patandhoka Road. Walk straight for about 500 meters, and you will see Yala Dhwakha - Patan Dhoka on your right. Look for a large white structure with intricate carvings.

From the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), exit the temple and turn left onto the narrow street leading to the main road. Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the Patandhoka Road. Turn right and continue for about 300 meters. Yala Dhwakha will be on your right-hand side.
