If you're starting from Patan Durbar Square, head east on the main road (Mangal Bazar). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Jawalakhel. Turn left onto this road and walk for about 1 kilometer. You'll notice the streets becoming busier as you approach Jawalakhel. Keep walking straight until you see a large entrance gate on your right, which marks the entrance to Central Zoo.

From the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), exit the temple complex and head down the road towards Mangal Bazar. Once you reach Mangal Bazar, turn left and walk towards Patan Durbar Square. From there, follow the previous instructions to reach Central Zoo.

If you are near the Patan Museum, exit the museum and head towards the main road. Turn right and walk straight until you reach Mangal Bazar. From Mangal Bazar, follow the main road towards Jawalakhel, and you will soon arrive at Central Zoo.
