    If you are starting from the Patan Durbar Square, exit the square and head south towards Mangal Bazaar. As you walk, you will see various shops and local eateries along the way. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Jawalakel Road). At the intersection, turn left onto Jawalakel Road. Keep walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the Thapahity area. The Thapahity Ancient Water Tap will be on your right side, easily identifiable by its historical architecture.

    If you are coming from the Patan Museum, exit the museum and head south towards the main road (Jawalakel Road). Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk for about 10 minutes. Look for signs pointing towards Mangal Bazaar. As you approach Mangal Bazaar, you will find the Thapahity Ancient Water Tap on your left, surrounded by local shops and residences.

    For those starting from the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), exit the temple and head east. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the main road. Turn left on the main road and continue walking. After approximately 7 minutes, you will enter the Thapahity area. The Thapahity Ancient Water Tap will be on your right, marked by its distinctive stone structure.
