Walking
Start at the center of Mangal Bazaar, near the Patan Durbar Square. Head south along the main road, which is called 'Mangal Bazaar Road'. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach a small intersection. At this intersection, turn left onto Jana Bahal Road. Continue walking down this road for approximately 5 minutes. Purnachandi Pond will be on your right side, just past a few local shops and eateries. The pond is a short distance from the road and can be accessed easily.
Local Taxi or Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw from one of the many stands in Mangal Bazaar. Inform the driver that you are heading to Purnachandi Pond. The ride should take about 5-7 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to agree on a fare before starting the ride. This option will typically cost around 200-300 NPR.
Use Purnachandi Pond as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
