Getting There

    From Pokhara, head to the Lakeside area and find the Tourist Bus Park. You can take a local bus or a shared jeep to Nayapul, which is the starting point for many treks in the Annapurna region. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Nayapul, follow the signs towards Tikhedhunga (or Ulleri). The trek to Annapurna IV typically starts from the Ghorepani trail. Continue trekking for about 4-5 hours until you reach Ghorepani. This is a popular stopover for trekkers and offers stunning views of the Annapurna range. From Ghorepani, the trek continues towards Poon Hill, which is a viewpoint for sunrise views, and then further towards Tadapani and Chomrong. From Chomrong, you will take the trail that leads you towards Base Camp and eventually Annapurna IV. This will require several days of trekking, and it is advisable to hire a local guide or join a trekking group.
