    Getting There

    Walking

Start at the main Lakeside area, near the Phewa Lake. Head towards the Lakeside Market and look for the main road, called 'Lakeside Road'. Follow Lakeside Road until you reach the intersection with 'Shiv Mandir Marg'. Turn left onto Shiv Mandir Marg. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes, and you will see the Regional Museum on your left at 'शिव मन्दिर मार्ग १'. It is located near the Shiv Mandir (Shiva Temple), which is a notable landmark.

    Local Transportation (Rickshaw)

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local rickshaw from Lakeside. Head to a nearby rickshaw stand, which are common in the Lakeside area. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Regional Museum' or 'Shiv Mandir Marg'. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 100-200 NPR for this short trip. Make sure to agree on the price before you start the ride.

    Bicycle Rental

Another option is to rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along Lakeside Road. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the Lakeside Market area and then follow the same route as for walking. After reaching the intersection with 'Shiv Mandir Marg', turn left and continue cycling until you see the museum on your left. This option gives you a bit of exercise and is quite enjoyable in the scenic surroundings.
