Walking
If you are at the Lakeside area of Pokhara, head south on the main street (Lakeside Road) towards the direction of the Phewa Lake. Continue walking until you reach the end of the lake, then take a left on the road leading up towards Sarangkot. The hike from Lakeside to Sarangkot is approximately 2.5 hours. Follow the signs for Sarangkot, and be prepared for a steep ascent with some breathtaking views along the way.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops along Lakeside Road. Ride along Lakeside Road heading south until you reach the junction that leads towards Sarangkot. Follow the road signs directing you to Sarangkot. The ride is about 6 kilometers, and it can take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the base of Sarangkot. From there, you will need to walk or hire a local guide to take you up the hill to the viewpoint.

From Lakeside, walk to the nearest local bus station located on the main road. Look for buses heading to Sarangkot. The fare is very affordable, typically around 30-50 Nepalese Rupees. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sarangkot bus stop, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the viewpoint. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

For those looking for a more adventurous option, consider trekking from Lakeside to Sarangkot. Start your trek from the Lakeside area, heading towards the hills.
