Car
If you are driving from Kathmandu, first take the Bimal Nagar - Dolakha road. After approximately 3-4 hours of driving, you will reach the town of Charikot. From Charikot, follow the road signs to Bhimeshwor Municipality. The road will take you through beautiful landscapes and terraced fields. Upon reaching Bhimeshwor Municipality, use the coordinates M279+X9F to navigate to the Bhoot chhahara waterfall. Make sure to check the road conditions during the rainy season, as some areas might be affected.
Public Transportation
From Kathmandu, you can take a bus to Charikot. The bus ride usually takes about 6-8 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive in Charikot, you will need to take a local jeep or bus to Bhimeshwor Municipality. The local transport options may vary, but it typically takes about an hour to reach Bhimeshwor. After reaching Bhimeshwor, you can use the coordinates M279+X9F to find your way to the Bhoot chhahara waterfall. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed, as they are usually very helpful.
Hiking
If you are already in the Rolwaling Valley and prefer to hike, head towards the waterfall from your current location. The trail leading to Bhoot chhahara is well-marked, but may require some navigation skills, particularly in steep areas. Depending on your starting point, the hike may take between 1-3 hours. Ensure that you have proper hiking gear and sufficient water and snacks for the journey.
