Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kathmandu. Drive towards Dolakha, which will take approximately 7 to 8 hours. From Dolakha, continue towards the village of Shigatse. Note that the roads can be challenging, so make sure your vehicle is suitable for mountain driving. Upon reaching Shigatse, park your car and prepare for the next leg of your journey.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kathmandu, catch a local bus heading to Dolakha, which typically takes around 8 to 10 hours. Once you arrive in Dolakha, you can take a local jeep to Na Village. The jeep ride from Dolakha to Na Village will take about 2 to 3 hours. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it can vary.
Trekking
From Na Village, Mount Gothu is accessible via trekking. The trek is approximately 4 to 6 hours long, depending on your pace and the trail conditions. Head northeast from Na Village, following the trail that leads towards the base of Mount Gothu. Ensure you have a local guide if you're unfamiliar with the terrain, as the trails can be challenging to navigate.
