    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Dhangadhi, the capital of Sudurpashchim Province. Take the Mahakali Highway (also known as the Dhangadhi-Darchula Road) towards Darchula. The distance is approximately 200 km and may take around 5-6 hours depending on road conditions. Follow the signs towards Darchula and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Darchula, continue towards Byash. The final stretch will take you to RM 1 in Byash, where Api Base Camp (South) is located.

    Public Transportation

    For public transportation, board a bus from Dhangadhi to Darchula. Buses leave regularly from the Dhangadhi bus park, and the fare is typically around NPR 500-800 depending on the bus service. The journey may take approximately 6-8 hours. Upon arrival in Darchula, you can hire a local jeep or take a shared taxi to Byash, which is about 10 km away from Darchula. The jeep fare to Byash is around NPR 200-300 per person. From Byash, follow local directions to Api Base Camp (South), which is a short walk from the main road.
