Getting There

• Public Transportation

  From Tilicho Lake, you'll need to find a local bus or jeep heading towards Jhong. Buses typically leave from the main bus stop area. Make sure to confirm with locals about the timings. The fare is usually around NPR 500-700 per person. The ride will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on road conditions. You will want to ask the driver to drop you off at Jhong, the village closest to Dhakpochhe Tashiling View Point.

• Walking

  Once you arrive in Jhong, head towards the marked trail for Dhakpochhe Tashiling View Point. The trail starts just outside the village. It's a moderately steep hike that will take you about 30-45 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Be sure to follow the signs, and if you're unsure, ask locals for directions. They are usually very helpful and can guide you along the way.

• Private Vehicle

  If you have arranged for a private vehicle, you can drive from Tilicho Lake to Jhong. However, be cautious as the roads can be rough. The journey should take about 1-2 hours. Upon reaching Jhong, park your vehicle in a safe area and follow the hiking trail to the viewpoint as described above.
