From Upper Mustang, first head towards Jomsom. Use a private vehicle or hire a taxi for this journey, which takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Jomsom, continue your journey by taking the road towards Kagbeni, which is approximately 30 minutes away. After Kagbeni, you'll need to drive towards the town of Muktinath, which is an additional 1-2 hours from Kagbeni. From Muktinath, you can take a jeep or local transport towards the town of Ghasa, and further on to Beni. At Beni, switch to a bus or share taxi heading towards Syabru Besi. The total travel cost from Upper Mustang to Syabru Besi will be around NPR 5000-7000, depending on the vehicle and negotiation.
