The distance is approximately 70 km and takes about 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Beni, you will need to take the road towards Darbang. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach the small village of Darbang. From Darbang, you will need to hire a local jeep or arrange for a trek to enter Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, as the area is remote and not accessible by regular vehicles.

For those using public transportation, start at Jomsom and take a local bus or jeep to Beni. The bus ride takes about 3-4 hours and costs around NPR 300-500. Once in Beni, you will have to find a local jeep service that operates towards Darbang. The jeep ride from Beni to Darbang typically costs around NPR 1500 and takes about 1 hour. From Darbang, you will need to hire a local guide or a jeep to take you into Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, as public transport does not reach the reserve directly.
