Car
If you are driving to Siddha Gufa from major cities in the Western Development Region, start by heading towards the Prithvi Highway (Highway 1). From Pokhara, it takes approximately 2 hours to reach Bandipur. As you drive, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains. Once you arrive in Bandipur, look for signs directing you to Siddha Gufa. The cave is located just a short drive from the main town center. You may need to park your car and walk for about 15 minutes through a well-marked trail to reach the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Siddha Gufa via public transportation, you can take a bus from Pokhara or Kathmandu to Dumre. Buses are frequent, and the journey from Pokhara takes around 3 hours. Upon reaching Dumre, you will need to catch a local microbus or a taxi to Bandipur. The microbus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once in Bandipur, follow the path leading to Siddha Gufa, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main area of Bandipur.
Walking
After reaching Bandipur, to access Siddha Gufa, park your vehicle or disembark from your public transport at the town center. Follow the signs towards the cave, and you will find a well-maintained walking trail. The trail is about 1 km long and should take around 15-20 minutes to walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trail can be slightly steep in some areas.
