Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Pokhara from your current location in the Western Development Region. Follow the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara Highway) until you reach the city of Pokhara. Once you enter Pokhara, look for signs directing you to Lakeside. As you approach the Lakeside area, continue onto Baidam Road. Hotel Third Pole is located near Hallan Chock, at Baidam Rd 18. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those traveling by bus, you can take a local or tourist bus heading to Pokhara from your current location. Buses leave from various terminals depending on where you are in the Western Development Region. Once you arrive at the Pokhara bus station, you can take a taxi or a local microbus to the Lakeside area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Hallan Chock on Baidam Road. The fare for a taxi is approximately NPR 300-500 depending on the distance, while a microbus will cost around NPR 50-100 per person.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any nearby town or village in the Western Development Region to take you directly to Hotel Third Pole. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should generally be around NPR 2000-3000 from areas like Baglung or Besisahar. Upon reaching Pokhara, direct the driver to Baidam Road, near Hallan Chock, where Hotel Third Pole is situated.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Pokhara. There are several rental shops in the Lakeside area. Once you have your bike, navigate to Baidam Road; Hotel Third Pole is located near Hallan Chock. Be sure to have a valid driver’s license and wear a helmet. Rental rates typically range from NPR 800-1500 per day.
