Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, take the Prithvi Highway (Himalayan Highway) west from Kathmandu. The journey takes about 6-8 hours depending on traffic. Once you enter Pokhara, follow the signs to Lakeside. Upon reaching Lakeside Rd, Moonlight Resort and Spa will be located along this road. Look for the resort at the address: Lakeside Rd, Pokhara 33700.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Buses leave from various locations in Kathmandu like Thamel. The trip takes around 7-8 hours and costs approximately NPR 1,000-1,500 per person. Once you arrive at the Pokhara bus park, you can take a taxi or a local microbus to reach Lakeside. The taxi ride will cost around NPR 500-700 and will take about 15-20 minutes.

• Taxi from Pokhara Bus Park

  After arriving at the Pokhara bus park, you can hire a taxi directly to Moonlight Resort and Spa. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The taxi should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the resort, costing around NPR 500-700. Ask the driver to take you to Lakeside Road.

• Local Transport (Rickshaw or Microbus)

  If you prefer more local options, you can take a rickshaw or a microbus from the Pokhara bus park to Lakeside. The fare for a rickshaw is around NPR 300-400, while a microbus ride will cost about NPR 50-100 per person. These options can be more adventurous and give you a glimpse of local life.
