Car
If you're driving from the center of Achterhoek, take the A18 highway towards Amsterdam. After approximately 90 km, merge onto the A1 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue for about 50 km, then take the exit for S112 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you reach the city, follow signs for 'Centrum'. Park your car in one of the nearby parking garages such as 'Q-Park Amsterdam Centrum', and walk to Begijnhof 29, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Begijnhofkapel using public transportation, start at the local train station in Achterhoek. Take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Nieuwmarkt' or 'Dam'. Get off at the 'Spui' stop. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Begijnhof 29. Walk towards the Spui square, then take the first right onto the Begijnhof street, and you'll find the Begijnhofkapel at number 29.
