Car
If you're traveling by car from Achterhoek, start by taking the N18 towards Enschede. Follow the N18 until you reach the A1 motorway. Merge onto the A1 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 60 km, take the exit towards A27 Utrecht. Follow the A27 until you reach the A12, then take the exit for Utrecht. Continue on the A12 and follow the signs for the city center. Once in Utrecht, follow the signs to 'Binnenstad' and head towards Drift 9. There is paid parking available nearby, and you may need to pay around €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Utrecht Lumen via public transport, start at the nearest train station in Achterhoek, such as Doetinchem. Take a train towards Utrecht Central Station, which typically requires one transfer, often in Arnhem. The journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your connections. Once at Utrecht Central Station, you can either walk to Drift 9, which is approximately a 15-minute walk, or take a bus from the station. If you choose the bus, take line 1 or 4 to 'Utrecht, Drift'. The bus fare is around €3.50.
