If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the A1 highway and head towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for Amsterdam and continue on the A10 ring road. Take exit S105 towards Amsterdam-Zuid. Continue straight to merge onto Amstelveenseweg/S108. Once you reach the center of Amsterdam, follow the signs to the Jordaan area. Descartes House is located at Westermarkt 6, right near the famous Westerkerk. Public parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking fees apply, typically around €5-€6 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Descartes House via public transportation, take a train from any station in Achterhoek to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and take tram line 13 or 17 towards Westermarkt. Disembark at the Westermarkt stop.
