Car
If you are driving from the center of Achterhoek, head towards the A18 motorway. Merge onto the A18 and continue until you reach the A1 highway. Take the exit for A1 towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for A10 and merge onto the A10 ring road. Take exit S105 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue onto Haarlemmerweg/S105 and follow it until you reach Haarlemmerplein. The Haarlemmerpoort will be located on your left at Haarlemmerplein 50, 1013 HS Amsterdam.
Public Transportation
From Achterhoek, take a train from the nearest station to Amsterdam Central Station. The train journey usually takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 1, 2, or 5. Get off at the Haarlemmerplein stop. The Haarlemmerpoort is located just a short walk from the tram stop at Haarlemmerplein 50, 1013 HS Amsterdam.
