If you are driving from Alblasserwaard, take the N214 towards Sliedrecht and then merge onto the A15 highway heading north. Continue on the A15 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take exit 20 towards the A12 highway and merge onto it. Follow the signs to Utrecht, which will take you onto the A27. After around 25 kilometers, take exit 34 towards Utrecht-Zuid and continue on the N229. Once you approach Utrecht city center, follow the signs for 'Binnenstad' and look for parking options nearby. Mariaplaats is located in the heart of the city, easily accessible from various parking lots.

To reach Mariaplaats via public transport, start at any major bus or train station in Alblasserwaard. First, take a train from a nearby station (like Sliedrecht Boven-Hardinxveld or Hardinxveld Blauwe Zoom) to Utrecht Central Station, which should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. You can take bus line 2 or 3 towards 'Utrecht, Mariaplaats'. The bus ride should take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Mariaplaats' stop, and you will be right at your destination. The area is pedestrian-friendly and has plenty of signs to guide you.
