Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Alblasserdam, head northeast on the N215 towards Sliedrecht. Continue on N215 for about 8 km. Merge onto the A15 motorway towards Rotterdam. After approximately 4 km, take exit 24-Dordrecht towards Dordrecht. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N3. Follow the signs for Sliedrechtse Biesbosch. After about 10 minutes on the N3, turn right onto the Boven Merwede, and follow the signs to Sliedrechtse Biesbosch, which will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  From Alblasserdam, take the bus line 1 towards Dordrecht. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Dordrecht, Sliedrechtse Biesbosch' stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the entrance of Sliedrechtse Biesbosch. Ensure you check the bus schedule beforehand, as service may vary on weekends and holidays. A single bus ticket costs around €3.50.

• Combination of Train and Bus

  From Alblasserdam, walk to the Alblasserdam train station and take a train towards Dordrecht. The train ride takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Dordrecht station, exit the station and take bus line 8 towards Sliedrecht. Get off at the 'Dordrecht, Sliedrechtse Biesbosch' stop. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. The total cost for the train and bus combined is around €7. Make sure to check the train schedules for the most accurate times.
