Walking
Start at the Amersfoort Central Station. Exit the station and head towards the city center by following the signs for 'Centrum'. Continue straight until you reach the Eemplein square. From there, take the first left onto the Eemweg and follow it until you reach the Eem river. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight. You will eventually reach the Kromme Nieuwegracht, which will lead you into the historic part of the city. Keep walking straight until you see the famous Onze Lieve Vrouwe Tower. At this point, follow the signs for 'Amsterdam' until you reach the bus station at the edge of the city. You can catch a bus here heading to Amsterdam, which will take you to the city center near the train station.

From Amersfoort Central Station, take a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains run frequently, so you won’t have to wait long. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the front where you will find the tram stops. Take tram 2 or tram 12, which will take you to the area near Prinsengracht. Get off at the 'Westermarkt' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Prinsengracht 112. Head towards the canal and walk along the canal until you see the museum on your left.
