Getting There

  • Walking

    From Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Vredenburg. Follow Vredenburg until you reach the intersection with the street called 'Oudegracht'. Turn left onto Oudegracht and continue walking. Keep following the canal until you reach the Dom Tower. From the Dom Tower, head towards the nearest tram stop at 'Domplein'. Take tram line 2 towards 'Zuid' and get off at 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. From here, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus 28 towards 'Utrecht, Lunetten'. Get off at 'Lunetten, Cederlaan' and walk towards the city center. Once you arrive at the Oudezijds Achterburgwal, continue straight until you reach the Bananenbar at Oudezijds Achterburgwal 37.

  • Public Transport

    Beginning at Utrecht Central Station, take the train towards Amsterdam Central Station. This journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Central Station, leave the station and follow the signs to the tram station. Take Tram line 4 or 14 and get off at 'Dam Square'. From Dam Square, walk towards the Oudezijds Achterburgwal. The Bananenbar is located at number 37, just a short walk down the street.

  • Cycling

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Utrecht. Head towards the city center and take the route following the canals. Follow the signs towards Amsterdam, which is roughly a 45-minute cycle ride. Once you reach Amsterdam, continue to the Oudezijds Achterburgwal and look for number 37 where the Bananenbar is located.
