From the center of Amersfoort, walk to the bus stop 'Amersfoort, Station'. Take bus line 74 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop 'Utrecht, Kasteel De Haar'. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to the Castle De Haar. Follow the signs leading to the castle entrance.

Head to Amersfoort's main train station ('Amersfoort Station'). Take a train towards Utrecht Centraal. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the station and walk to the bus stop outside. Take bus line 74 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' and get off at 'Utrecht, Kasteel De Haar'. The castle is just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike in Amersfoort. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Amersfoort, Vermeerstraat' exit. Follow the cycle path towards Utrecht, which is approximately 14 kilometers away. The route will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Kasteellaan in Utrecht, follow the signs to Castle De Haar.
Walking
For a scenic route, you can walk from Amersfoort to Castle De Haar. Start at the center of Amersfoort and make your way towards the 'Havik' street. Follow the signs leading to Utrecht, which is about 14 kilometers away. It will take approximately 2-3 hours of walking, and you will enjoy the countryside views along the way. Once you arrive at Kasteellaan, follow the signs to the castle entrance.
