Getting There

Walking
From the central train station in Amersfoort, head south towards the city center. Walk along Utrechtseweg until you reach the intersection with Groen van Prinstererlaan. Turn left onto Groen van Prinstererlaan and continue straight. You will pass by shops and cafes. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the historical area of Amersfoort. Continue walking straight until you see the signs for the bus station. Catch bus line 1 towards Amsterdam, which will take you directly to the Eastern Docklands in Amsterdam.

Public Transport
Start at Amersfoort train station and take the Intercity train towards Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head to the bus terminal outside. From there, take bus 42 towards 'Zandberg' and get off at the stop 'Oostelijke Handelskade'. Walk towards the waterfront, and you will find yourself in the Eastern Docklands area.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Amersfoort. Head towards the Amersfoort train station and follow the signs for the cycling path to Amsterdam.
