Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Amersfoort, start at the main square, the Hof. From there, head south towards the Varkensmarkt and continue to the Langestraat. Keep walking straight and take a left onto the Westsingel. Follow the Westsingel until you reach the train station. From Amersfoort train station, take a train to Utrecht Central Station, which will take approximately 15 minutes. Once at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Board bus number 12 towards 'Utrecht, Geertekerkhof'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Geertekerkhof' stop. The Geertekerk will be a short walk from the bus stop.

You can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Amersfoort. Head south towards the Varkensmarkt, then proceed to the Langestraat and keep going until you reach the Westsingel. Follow the Westsingel until you arrive at the train station. Park your bike at the station and take a train to Utrecht Central Station. Once you arrive at Utrecht, you can either bike or walk to Geertekerkhof which is about a 10-minute bike ride from the station. If you prefer to bike, rent a bike at the station and head southeast towards Geertekerkhof.

From the center of Amersfoort, take bus number 3 towards 'Utrecht, Lunetten'. This bus will take you directly to Utrecht Central Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, walk to the bus terminal and board bus number 12 towards 'Utrecht, Geertekerkhof'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Geertekerkhof' stop. The Geertekerk is just a short walk from there.
