    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Amersfoort train station, exit the station and head south towards the city center. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Varkensmarkt square. Turn left onto the Langestraat and continue until you arrive at the intersection with the Korte Nieuwstraat. Continue straight, and you will reach the Hof, a beautiful park area. Walk through the Hof and exit onto the Utrechtseweg. Head towards the city center, and follow the signs towards the 'Korte Kamperbinnenpoort', which will lead you to the main shopping streets. Keep walking until you reach the 'Nederlandsche Bank' roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto the 'Havenweg', which will take you to the canals. Follow the canal path until you reach the Houseboat Museum located at Prinsengracht 296K, Amsterdam. It is a charming area and the museum is easily identifiable by its distinctive entrance.

    Public Transport

    From Amersfoort train station, take the train to Amsterdam Centraal station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take bus number 170 or 172 towards 'Zuid' and get off at the 'Prinsengracht' stop. From there, it's just a short walk: head towards the canal and walk along the Prinsengracht. The Houseboat Museum is located at number 296K, which should be on your left as you walk along the water. The entire journey should take around 45 minutes, including the bus ride.
