Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Amersfoort train station, exit the station and head towards the main square, called 'Langegracht'. Walk straight along 'Langegracht' until you reach 'Havenweg' and turn left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'Keizersgracht'. Turn right onto 'Keizersgracht' and follow the road until you reach the junction with 'Wagenweg'. Turn left onto 'Wagenweg', and after about 500 meters, you will find the bus stop 'Amersfoort, Wagenweg'. From here, take bus number 2 towards 'Soesterkwartier'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Amersfoort, De Ruijterkade', which is located close to the I amsterdam Visitor Centre.

    From the Amersfoort train station, you can take bus line 2 directly. Head to the bus terminal located just outside the train station and look for bus line 2 towards 'Soesterkwartier'. Board the bus and enjoy a ride for about 20 minutes. Once you reach the stop 'Amersfoort, De Ruijterkade', disembark. The I amsterdam Visitor Centre is located a short walk from the bus stop, just head toward the water and look for the building at De Ruijterkade 28.
