Walking
If you're starting from Amersfoort's central train station (Amersfoort Centraal), exit the station and head southeast towards Stationsplein. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Stadsring. Cross the road and continue along the path that leads you to the city center. Follow the signs for the city center until you reach the large square called 'Hof.' From Hof, head towards the 'Langegracht' street and continue walking straight until you see the main shopping street, 'Korte Koppel.' Continue along Korte Koppel until you reach the 'Piet Mondriaanplein' square. From there, take the bus at the bus stop towards Amsterdam. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, follow signs to Leidseplein. The theater will be directly at Leidseplein 26.
Public Transport (Bus and Train)
From Amersfoort Centraal, take a direct train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and look for the bus stop. Take bus number 170 or 172 towards Leidseplein. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Leidseplein stop, and you will see the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam right at Leidseplein 26.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops near Amersfoort Centraal. Head out of the station and follow the bike paths towards the 'Amersfoortseweg.' Continue cycling straight for about 10 kilometers, following the road signs to Amsterdam. As you approach Amsterdam, follow the signs leading to the city center and Leidseplein. The theater is located on Leidseplein 26, easily accessible by bike.
