Walking
If you are in the center of Amersfoort, start at the 'Langegracht' street. Walk towards the 'Korte Kromme Elleboog' street. Continue straight until you reach the 'Havenweg'. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the 'Eemplein'. From 'Eemplein', take bus line 3 towards Amsterdam. Get off at 'Amsterdam Centraal' station. From there, you can take a tram or walk to the Multatuli Statue located at Torensluis, 1016 BD Amsterdam.
Public Transport (Bus)
Begin at the 'Amersfoort Centraal' train station. Take bus line 3 towards Amsterdam. It will take approximately 45 minutes to reach 'Amsterdam Centraal'. Once you arrive at 'Amsterdam Centraal', exit the bus and walk towards the main exit. From there, head to 'Damrak' street and take a left. Continue walking until you see the canal, then turn right towards 'Torensluis' where the Multatuli Statue is located.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Amersfoort. Head towards 'Zijdeweg' and follow the path towards 'Kruisstraat'. Continue straight until you reach 'Nijkerkerweg', then turn left. Follow the route towards 'A28', and when you reach the roundabout, take the exit towards 'Amsterdam'. It will take about an hour to bike to Amsterdam, and you can park your bike near the 'Torensluis' area to visit the Multatuli Statue.
