Walking
From the center of Amersfoort, head towards the Amersfoort Railway Station. Once you reach the station, exit and walk towards the main road, Stationsplein. Follow the Stationsplein to the right until you reach the intersection with Utrechtseweg. Cross the road and continue walking straight until you reach the bus station. From here, take bus line 6 towards Utrecht and get off at the Utrechtseweg stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Amersfoort city center, and from there, follow the signs to the train station. Once you arrive at the train station, transfer to an intercity train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. After arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, you can take tram line 1, 2, or 5 to reach the area near Keizersgracht. Get off at the ‘Keizersgracht’ stop. Walk along Keizersgracht until you see the Museum Van Loon at number 672.
Public Transport
Start from Amersfoort and head to Amersfoort Railway Station. Purchase a train ticket to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, navigate to the tram platform and board tram line 1, 2, or 5. The tram will take you to the Keizersgracht stop. After getting off, walk along Keizersgracht towards number 672, where Museum Van Loon is located.
Bicycle
If you're comfortable riding a bike, rent a bicycle in Amersfoort and ride towards Amsterdam. Head towards the N199 road, which will take you directly to Amsterdam. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, navigate toward the city center and the Keizersgracht. Follow the canal until you reach Museum Van Loon at 672 Keizersgracht. Be mindful of the cycling paths and obey traffic signals as you ride.
