Walking
If you are starting from the Amersfoort Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Stationsweg. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Barchman Wuytierslaan. Cross over to the left side of the street and continue walking straight. After about 10 more minutes, you will arrive at the city center. From there, follow the signs to the bus station and take bus 2 or 3 towards Amsterdam. Get off at Amsterdam, Centraal Station. From there, catch a train to Amsterdam Zuid Station. Once at Amsterdam Zuid, switch to a train heading to Amsterdam Centraal, and after a short ride, you will arrive at your destination.
Public Transport
From the Amersfoort Train Station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. Trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, head to the platform for the Metro and take Metro Line 52 towards Noord. Get off at the station 'Vijzelgracht'. From the station, walk south on Vijzelgracht until you reach Herengracht, then turn right. KattenKabinet will be on your left after a short walk.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, Amersfoort has bike rental services available. Rent a bike from the station and take the cycling path towards Barchman Wuytierslaan. Follow the bike lanes along the route to Amsterdam, which is about a 40-minute ride. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, continue cycling towards the city center.
