    If you are starting from the center of Amersfoort, head towards the Amersfoort train station. Once you arrive at the station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the east exit. Follow the signs for the IJ river. Once you reach the river, turn right and walk along the waterfront until you reach the Kattenburgerplein. The National Maritime Museum will be on your left at Kattenburgerplein 1.

    From Amersfoort, take a train from Amersfoort Central Station to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 26 towards 'Noorderpark'. Get off at the 'Kattenburgerstraat' stop. From there, walk a short distance towards Kattenburgerplein; the National Maritime Museum will be located at Kattenburgerplein 1 on your right.
