Walking
From the Amersfoort train station, exit onto Stationsplein and head towards the bus station. Walk through the bus station and exit onto Stadsring. Follow Stadsring for about a 10-minute walk until you reach the city center. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Langestraat. Turn left onto Langestraat and keep walking until you reach the square in front of the Koppelpoort. From there, take a right onto the Korte Gracht, which will lead you to the canal area. Follow the canal until you reach the junction with the Eem River. At this point, you will need to take a train from Amersfoort to Amsterdam Central Station. Once in Amsterdam, exit the station and head towards the waterfront, following the signs for Oosterdok. Continue walking along Oosterdokskade, and you will find OBA Oosterdok - Public Library at number 143.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop near Amersfoort train station. Exit the station and head towards the city center via Stationsplein. Follow the designated bike paths along Stadsring for about 10 minutes until you reach the city center. From there, navigate towards Langestraat and then take a right onto Korte Gracht. Follow the path along the canal and continue until you arrive at the Eem River. Park your bicycle at the train station in Amersfoort and take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, rent another bicycle or follow the walking directions toward Oosterdokskade. The library is located at number 143.
Public Transportation
From Amersfoort train station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the waterfront area. Walk towards Oosterdok, which is located directly in front of the station. Continue walking along Oosterdokskade, and you will arrive at OBA Oosterdok - Public Library at number 143. Be sure to check the train schedules in advance for the best travel times.
