Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Amersfoort, head towards the Amersfoort train station. Once you are at the train station, take a train towards Apeldoorn. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Apeldoorn station, exit the station and head southeast on Stationsplein towards Laan van Nieuw Guinea. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Koninginnelaan. Turn left onto Koninginnelaan and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Koninklijk Park. Continue straight for about 600 meters, and you will find Paleis Het Loo on your right at Koninklijk Park 16, 7315 JA Apeldoorn.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Amersfoort. Start from the city center and head towards the Amersfoort train station to get onto the bike path that leads to Apeldoorn. Follow the signs for the cycle route to Apeldoorn, which will take you through scenic landscapes and parks. The bike ride will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your speed. Once you arrive in Apeldoorn, look for signs directing you to the city center and then head towards Koninklijk Park. Paleis Het Loo will be located on your right at Koninklijk Park 16, 7315 JA Apeldoorn.

• Bus

  From Amersfoort, you can take a bus to Apeldoorn. Head to the nearest bus stop that services routes to Apeldoorn. Bus lines such as 101 or 106 frequently run between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. The bus journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Apeldoorn bus station, exit and walk southeast towards Stationsplein. Continue onto Laan van Nieuw Guinea and follow the same route described for walking from the train station. After reaching the roundabout, take the first exit onto Koninklijk Park, and Paleis Het Loo will be on your right at Koninklijk Park 16, 7315 JA Apeldoorn.
