Walking
From the center of Amersfoort, head east on the Stationsplein towards the Amersfoort Railway Station. Once you reach the station, take the bus number 74 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. After a 30-minute ride, get off at 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' and transfer to the train towards Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the east exit. Continue walking for about 15 minutes along the Prins Hendrikkade until you reach Piet Heinkade. The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam will be on your left at Piet Heinkade 27.
Bus and Train
Start at Amersfoort Centraal Station. Take the Intercity train towards Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 40 minutes. When you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit and find the metro signs for Line 52 towards Noord. Get off at 'Noorderpark' station. From there, take bus number 32 towards Amsterdam, IJburg and get off at 'Piet Heinkade'. The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is a short walk from the bus stop at Piet Heinkade 27.
Bicycle
For the adventurous tourist, you can rent a bicycle in Amersfoort. Head towards the Amersfoort Railway Station and take the cycle path towards Utrecht. Follow the signs to Amsterdam, which is approximately 55 km away. The route will take you along scenic canals and countryside. Once you reach Amsterdam, navigate towards the city center and follow the signs to the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam located at Piet Heinkade 27.
