Getting There

  • Bus

    From Amersfoort central station, take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Zuid', which is near the Amsterdam Zuid train station. From there, transfer to tram line 5 towards 'Amstelveen, Stadshart' and ride for 7 stops. Get off at 'Leidseplein', then walk about 10 minutes to reach the Rembrandts Amsterdam Experience located at Weteringschans 2.

  • Train

    Start at Amersfoort central station and take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and walk to the tram stop located just outside. Take tram line 2 or 12 towards 'Amsterdam Zuid' and get off at 'Leidseplein'. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Weteringschans 2.

  • Bicycle

    If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bike in Amersfoort. Head west towards Amsterdam, following the cycle paths along the A1 highway. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you reach Amsterdam, continue to cycle until you reach Weteringschans 2. Look for bike parking spots nearby.

  • Walking

    While walking from Amersfoort to Amsterdam is quite a distance (about 50 km), you can take a train to Amsterdam and then walk to the location. After arriving at Amsterdam Central, walk towards the Dam Square and continue south along the Kalverstraat. After about 20 minutes, turn left on to the Weteringschans, and you will arrive at Weteringschans 2 after a 15-minute walk.
