Walking
From the center of Amersfoort, head towards the Amersfoort train station. Once at the station, take the train towards Gouda. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Gouda train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Stationsplein). Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with the 'Korte Groenendaal'. Cross at the lights and continue walking straight. You’ll pass a few shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes of walking, turn left onto 'Punt'. Continue on 'Punt' for about 5 minutes, and you will find 't Slot at Punt 17, 2801 PZ Gouda.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Amersfoort. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Bisschopsweg'. Follow the bike paths to the Gouda direction, which is approximately 25 kilometers away. You will ride through scenic Dutch countryside. Once you reach Gouda, navigate towards 'Punt'. The route is well-marked with signs for cyclists. Once you arrive in Gouda, find 'Punt', and 't Slot will be at number 17.
Public Transport
For public transport options, start from Amersfoort central bus station. Take bus line 18 towards Gouda. This bus will take you directly to Gouda in about 40 minutes. After arriving at the Gouda bus station, you can either walk or take a local bus to 'Punt'. If walking, exit the bus station and head towards the main road. Follow the directions as mentioned above for the walking route.
