Walking
If you are in the city center of Amersfoort, start at the Amersfoort train station. From the main entrance, head southwest on Stationsplein toward Bisschopsweg. Continue on Bisschopsweg until you reach the intersection with Utrechtseweg. Cross the road and continue straight onto Utrechtseweg. Follow it until you reach the bus station at the end of the street. Take bus number 317 towards Volendam. After about 45 minutes, get off at the 'Volendam, Centrum' stop. From there, walk straight down towards the waterfront, then turn left on Zeestraat. The Volendam Museum is located at Zeestraat 41, just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.

Public Transport
From Amersfoort, walk to the Amersfoort train station and take a train towards Amsterdam Centraal. Change trains at Amsterdam Sloterdijk station to the regional train towards Hoorn. At Hoorn, transfer to bus number 114 towards Volendam. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at 'Volendam, Centrum' bus stop. Once you arrive, walk straight towards the waterfront, then turn left on Zeestraat. The Volendam Museum will be on your right at Zeestraat 41.
