Private Dutch Ancestry tour from Amsterdam
Great Customized Tours!
This is our second time booking with Dutch Tours to explore our Dutch ancestry. Sarah and Eva do a great job in doing advance research to uncover family information and were able to find out things we didn’t know about our family and its past that even our Dutch relatives didn’t know. We were able to retrace our family roots back to the 16th century and explored areas where they lived. The tour was fully customized to meet our specific needs as we’d also asked to add in a bit of sightseeing to round out the day. Both Sarah and Eva are warm and hospitable guides and left us with wonderful memories. I would not hesitate to book another tour with them.

Flexible itinerary! We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Zaanse Schaanse was a little capsule of historic Dutch life. We were even taken to the beach which is not a normal stop on tours. Highly recommended.

This day trip was a really nice way to see a few different sides of the Netherlands. Each stop was unique and the mix kept the day interesting. Our guide was friendly and shared lots of local stories and facts along the way. Everything was well organized and went smoothly. Definitely a great option if you want to explore beyond Amsterdam in one day.
