Walking
If you are in the center of Amersfoort, head towards the Amersfoort railway station. From the station, walk south on Stationsplein until you reach the intersection with De Nieuwe Poort. Turn left onto De Nieuwe Poort and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Breestraat. Take a right onto Breestraat and walk until you reach the next intersection with Nieuwlandstraat. Continue straight onto Breestraat which will turn into Krommestraat. Keep walking until you reach the junction with Utrechtseweg. Cross Utrechtseweg and walk straight until you reach the bus stop at 'Utrechtseweg'. From there, take a bus towards Amsterdam. Get off at Amsterdam Centraal Station. Once at Amsterdam Centraal, head towards the exit to the left, then walk towards the IJ river, following the signs for the ferry. Take the ferry across the IJ, and when you disembark, turn left. Walk along the water until you reach Nieuwe Keizersgracht. The monument De Schaduwkade will be on your right at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1.

To reach De Schaduwkade from Amersfoort, start by heading to the Amersfoort railway station. From there, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the ferry terminal, located at the waterfront just outside the station. Take the free ferry to the north side of the IJ river. After disembarking, turn left and follow the waterfront until you reach Nieuwe Keizersgracht. The monument De Schaduwkade will be located at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1, just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
